Sacrament of the First Communion
First Communion is a Sacrament of Initiation (with Baptism and Confirmation) in which we find the treasure of the Church - Jesus Christ. Consecrated bread and wine become the Body and Blood of Christ himself making Eucharist the “source and summit” (CCC 1324) of our Christian life.
"While they were eating, Jesus took bread, said the blessing, broke it, and giving it to his disciples said, “Take and eat; this is my body.” Then he took a cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you, for this is my blood of the covenant, which will be shed on behalf of many for the forgiveness of sins." (Matthew 26:26-28)

Sacramento de la Primera Communión
La Primera Communión es un Sacramento de Iniciación (con el Bautismo y la Confirmación) en la que se encuentra el tesoro de la Iglesia - Jesucristo. el pan y el vino consagrados se convierten en el Cuerpo y la Sangre de Cristo a sí mismo haciendo la Eucaristía "fuente y cumbre" (CIC 1324) de nuestra vida cristiana.
"Mientras comían, Jesús tomó el pan, pronunció la bendición, lo partió y lo dio a sus discípulos, dijo:" Tomen y coman;. Esto es mi cuerpo "Luego tomó una copa, dio gracias y se la dio a ellos , diciendo: "Bebed de ella todos ustedes, porque esto es mi sangre de la alianza, que será derramada por muchos para el perdón de los pecados." (Mateo 26: 26-28)

CCD Registration
Saint Agnes Church offers a two-level First Communion religious education program. This program requires two years of preparation. At the end of the second level, every child is required to take and pass two exams, one oral and one written, in order to receive the sacrament of Communion.
